Rev. Anna Flowers is a progressive Christian with a passion for church revitalization. Since 2016, she has been the pastor of United Church in Walpole, an LGBTQ Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ in Walpole, Massachusetts. She loves crafting great worship and bringing new people into community.
Rev. Flowers was ordained into ministry on January 24th, 2016 at Kirkwood United Church of Christ in Atlanta, GA. She graduated with her Masters in Divinity in May of 2015 from Emory's Candler School of Theology, where she studied as a Robert W. Woodruff Scholar. Before answering a call to ministry and going to seminary, Anna was a corporate fundraiser for Points of Light Institute in Atlanta, GA. She graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Chicago ('08), where she served as a Student Marshal for the university. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society.
In her home life, Anna is married and has two children. She and her family enjoy spending time together, watching great movies, and cooking for friends. Anna loves to read, sing, and practice the guitar in her spare time.
