  • Worship: Preached, assisted in Eucharist, led prayers, sang for the church band
  • Pastoral Care: Visited congregants at home and in hospitals, reached out to those in need of care
  • Education: Developed curriculum and led “What do we believe?” Theology 101 class for adults

  • Led the interfaith committee developing the Faith and Neighborhoods track for the 2012 National Conference on Volunteering and Service
  • Responsible for raising $1 million from a portfolio of corporate clients including Belk, Boeing, JetBlue, Nestle, and Southwest Airlines among others. Stewarded a groundbreaking deal with client that closed at over $2 Million
  • Responsible for leading sales of National Days of Service sponsorships (Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Make a Difference Day, 9/11 National Day of Service, etc.)

 Corporate Development Coordinator,  2010 – 2011

  • Integrally supported the 9/11 10th Anniversary National Day of Service and Remembrance. Helped raise $3 million that supported the participation of 33 million Americans, 1 million+ acts of service, and over 1 billion media impressions
  • Influenced 3-year strategic plan after being hand-picked by organization’s chief officers to lead environmental scan of national and global demographic trends
  • Served on internal due diligence committee for possible acquisition of another nonprofit organization
